When you get “Read Error” message when booting up your computer then you’re facing serious problem. What I mean by serious is not that you have virus infection, data lost or hard drive going haywire, but rather, you don’t really know what problem causing it. In fact, when you check with any troubleshooting software it doesn’t seem to detect any malfunction.
Lucky for me, I am having it right know. I got it after running my computer for a week non-stop. I tried restarting a couple of times with no luck. I booted up gparted to check my partition but found no trouble. I googled around but nothing seemed satisfying. But hey, I manage to write this post so it means my problem is solved. Yup, and here’s the answer: Heat Temperature. yup…after I turned my computer off overnight the problem just disappeared.
